coolent temp sencer wount fit

are there two diffrent sizes of coolent temp sencers that go under the oil presure sencer on the rear iron? because I took one out of a rear iron I had siting around and tryed to put it in my s5 t2 iron and it was to small. the hole is the same size and thread pitch as the oil pressure senser.

your S5 T2 iron must have morphed into a S4 TII iron..

S4(bullet connector) has a smaller water temp sender than the S5(blade connector). hence your S5 water sender won't fit into the S4 iron.

Please learn to spell before posting on the internet. It's all words, so not knowing how to spell really makes you look like a dunce.

Karack is correct. S4 and S5 coolant temp sensors (specifically for the gauge) are not interchangeable.

Literally just had this same issue a few days ago.

Went to autozone and bought a brand new sensor for the s5 for like $12 with a lifetime warranty. Just spliced on a spade connector to the harness and it was good to go.
