Coolant Temp Sending Unit Questions
I don't seem to have one!! My 91 n/a does not have a unit above the spark plugs!!! Both holes are empty, but my stock gauge seems to be working. I have an aftermarket one in the mail, and I have no clue where the sending unit for it is!!!!! Help!!

the holes you are looking at are probably the knock sensor holes?? it's under the oil filter. it's pretty small. the oil pressure one is bigger and right above it.

I was looking in the Hayne's Manual, and the holes it showed for the location of the sender are empty. So, I need to know where it is on my 91 n/a!!

You're close, but no cigar.  The water temp sensor for the intrument cluster is closer to the oil pressure sensor.  The sensor is really small, and I think it has a yellow wire going to it.

Haven't we ALL heard this
Dude, if there is nothing in the hole small woodland creatures would be following you around for that sweet tasting coolant because it would go every where!
It is small and has a blade coming out of it
