I have an 87 GXL with a fairly clean, straight body and it still runs and drives fine, but the coolant seals are gone. You can't drive it more than about 20 miles before it starts over heating. I originally bought it with the intent of fixing it (either the 13b or maybe an LS1 conversion), but I've just plain got too many cars.

Since I'm pretty new to the RX-7 scene, I really don't know what to ask for a running driving car that in reality, needs an engine (or rebuild). It's still intact as far as no major mods. It has a K+N filter, and has a Racing Beat cat back system, but that's about it for mods. The dash, door panels, console and head liner are all in good shape, but the rear carpet has been removed. The seats are gray and not in very good shape, and the rest of the interior is the original burgundy color.

If I end up doing any kind of RX-7 project, after doing a lot of research both here and on the V8 site, I think I'll do an FD when I get some of my other projects completed. For now the 87GXL is just taking up space. I want out. What should I ask for it?

its not worth very much but is most likely rebuildable for reasonably cheap
if ur lucky rotaryresurection will see this he is in your general area and could tell u more about pricing and is one of the most reputable engine builders ive seen
