coolant seal

this may be a retarded question.. but where is the coolant seal on a 87 N/A coupe? thanks

In the engine. It's similar to a head gasket. Replacing it requires an engine rebuild (around $3000). You should look at other possible causes of cooling problems before you blame the coolant seal.
