Water filler neck on block right above the air pump. It has a radiator cap on it with a little nub sticking out. Stick it on there.

depending on what kind of fc it is, its either at the thermostat water housing neck (above the airpump) or at the radiator cap.

I have the Hose connected at BOTH,the thermostat neck nipple AND the Rad Cap..I did that after some Idiot Body Guy decided to jack the car up by the Rad.I have had Zero Issues with Coolant "Give and take".It Goes into the reservoir and goes back into the cooling system Just Fine.It may be a little "overkill" with an Extra piece of hose, but at the same time,it WORKS!.

I need to know that about my 88 TII as well. I'm rebuilding it and I'm not sure that it was right when it overheated.
