Angry coolant problem!!!

i have an 87 na and i have filled the coolant and made sure i dont have any air in the system i think. the warning buzzer stills goes off but not all the time it will go off then stop, then come back on. the car is not overheating right now and before all the coolant would just fill the overflow tank. i have put 2 new rad caps on and i dont see any leaks. im not sure whats going on.

When the buzzer goes off, is the coolant level actaully low? If it is, then you are losing coolant somewhere.

If the level is still high, you may have a break in the wire.

check everything. go nuts with it. I had the same issue. the little composite housing for the secondary cap was corroded on mine, so I replaced it with one from the junk yard. great condition, I cleaned it and put an even amount of sealent (high temp)under it before i bolted it back down... waited a couple hours and then filled her back up. shortly after the composite on the top side of my radiator blew open, so i got the koyo... AMAZING add on. totally worth it.

also, you may just be cycling air out of the system. when you let it get low, your going to get air in there and you will need to take time and effort to get it back out all the way. from a cold start, open it up (radiator cap off) fill it... and watch the bubbles come up. just sit there and keep it going until your idle goes back down. then fine tune the levels from there.

I run about 1/4 temp when its high with my new rad. i havne't replaced the thermostat.

Is the coolant going into the overflow bottle all the time? If so, you might have a bad coolant seal.
