Hi Guys. Have a problem, I am the new guy and my 91N/A engine needs the coolant seals replaced. But now I loose coolant, when I fill the radiator and start the car it blows white smoke for 5-10 seconds. It does not over heat except the over flow tank sometimes start to fill up, when it is off the coolant runs freely thru the radiator and the engine but when i start it it comes back thru thr top or the over flow. I am going to rebuld it at 119.000 miles but does this sound like the rad or the water pump. HELP!

 

It's the blown coolant seals that lets the engine force the coolant into the overflow tank.

 

Can it be driven short distances, 20 miles a day.
