Angry Coolant leak when car is parked

I am getting cooling problems now with my RX7, and I cannot work out where the problem lies. My filler cap needed replacing a couple of months ago, which I replaced, and now when the car is running everything seems fine, the temperature guage never goes above half way on the guage, but when I park the car, I see a puddle of coolant appear by the front wheel axle, and when I look at the coolant the filler neck is full but the coolant in the overflow bottle has gone down from the Full mark to the low mark, I think I am losing about 1/4 litre of collant a day after driving 100 miles. I am topping it up daily and always lose approx. the same amount of coolant, When I stop the car and turn the engine off the fan automatically cuts out as well, is this normal? have I got pressure problems, sticky thermostat??anybody had this before? got any ideas??

Check the heater hose that connects to the block on the driver side (below the oil filter)

I had a problem when I parked my car a few minutes later I would lose coolant. I would find puddles under my car. IF the coolant is coming from passenger side, I would bet MOST likely that its your Plastic resoviour containter. The container cracks over time. Here is the beauty of it. When your car is cold the container contracts so the fluid doesn't come out. After your driving the car, the fluid is warm, so the crack expands and the fluid comes out. Thats my theory. You may not see a crack in your container cause I couldn't, but when I replaced my container that fixed my problem. was around 120 for the container, easy to install in about 20 minutes from under the car.

When mine was leaking coolant it turned out to be the hose from the rear rotor to the UIM, like most of the people on here suggested. (thanks fellas) However, if the leak isn't coming down the back of the engine, that's probably not the issue with your car.
