coolant issue

ok so i have searched but found nothing like my problem, similar yes but not same. When driving (in traffic usually) my add coolant light will come on and stay on till i hit about 3-4000 rpm doesn't matter what gear then it will go off...then come back on, but under acceleration, a highway on ramp for example, it will never come on, my temp sensor never gets any higher than normal and i have to add coolant every 2 or 3 days! i'm not smoking...ever so i don't think its a seal but i was just hoping for some help! thanks in advance.

Pressure test your coolant system (Check out the manual in the FAQ section), if you have a hose or other easy to fix leak it should show up wouldn’t be a bad idea to change all your hoses if you never have.

If as you say you are having to fill the coolant every 2 days it has to be going somewhere, check under your car for a puddle if you find one it should give you an approximate location of your problem.

If this was my car it is a problem that I would not neglect for too long
Rotary without coolant + fail

i think i figured out my problem, some idiot put the wrong size belt on my water pump causing it to slip, which is why when i got higher in the revs the light would go off, cause it would finally catch.
