Coolant hoses
My son's 91 NA just blew the hose on the passenger side coming from the firewall down to the engine. No harm done, he didn't let it overheat. I'm wondering, should I go ahead and replace all hoses? How often do you guys do this, and which hose seems to go the most?

ya that hose that you are talking about is very common to blow. you should change all the hoses at once. thats what im doing and none of my hoses arent even gone yet. but still changing them to be safe.

The Heater Hose you speak of, Is a common Hose that goes bad. With old age, expansion, but In particular, oil leaking or falling off the pedestal will eventually take It's toll.
I would replace both Heater Hoses (other found coming out of the Passengers Side Firewall) and both Upper/Lower Radiator Hoses, seing how you'll probably bleed or replace your Coolant.(?)
