coolant engine drain plug torque?

cant find the torque specification for the coolant engine drain plug (the one on the engine mount). i looked through the FSM many times and searched. can i just torque it to 20-30 lb? will that be good enough for the engine vibration? should i put anti seize or loc-tite on the bolt before installing? thanks.

You're seriously going to use a torque wrench on that? Just do it up tight. It should be obvious just by feel when it's tight enough. The housing is aluminium, so you don't need to go silly on it.

Look in the Technical section of the factory service manual for standard torque information. Measure the size and pitch of the plug, look for the bolt class number on the head and torque according to the table value. Otherwise, put a little thread lock on it and like NZ says, just snug it down--don't overtighten.

The FSM can be downloaded from one of the links in the 2nd gen FAQ.
