Savanna was a brand, Infini was a model.. There were Infini versions of other cars, however.

so they weren't call Mazda RX7s? they where called Savanna Infini's?

Initially they were Savanna RX-7s, the Infini IV was a FC with no RX-7 badges and such, hence it was just called the Infini IV.

The reason I say Infini was a model designation, was because there was an Infini version of the Familia (323).
