converting S4 bumper to s5 bumper...

I have given in to the poll I started up a while back and decided to go with an S5 bumper to replace my vandalized S4 one.

But, what all will I need to properly convert this over? I have read about the S4 and S5 turn signal lenses being different....anything else?

Car is in the sig, if particular year matters.

Yes, the front bumper. Sorry for not being more specific.

My main question is:

Are there any structural differences between my S4 bumper and the S5 bumper (front bumpers)? Braces, etc.?

Not really. But alot of people report having to shave the brake ducting a little.

Dan Carwin did this Mod not too long ago. Search under his name + bumper.

straight bolt on, requires no fabrication (unless your car is a little mangled)

Greg, I'm the one with the s5 nose cone for sale that you replied to. I have a 87T2 that I just got done doing the s4 to s5 front nose cone (front end) swap. The ONLY thing you need to do the conversion is bascically the s5 front nose cone. you CAN use your s4 brake ducts but you HAVE TO TRIM them a bit I think 2" inches. I used s5 brake ducts on mine just to be complete s5. I have a EXTRA set of s5 brake ducts as well I will throw in. The ONLY reason you REALLY need to use s5 brake ducts is if you are going to get s5 stock foglights in the future like I did. I also replaced the s4 bumper reinforcemnet to a s5 bumper reinforcement (the black metal thing behind the nose cone ONLY because it has holes where the foglight bracket screws in to the black bumper reinforcemnent. Thats THE only reason I swapped reinforcemnets because I used S5 fog lights. it is a very very straight forward swap. (EASY TOO). I hope I did not confuse the matter.
