Converting Power Windows
I have a 1988 Vert. Does anyone know if it's possible to convert my windows from power to manual. I'm sick of the windows working when "they" feel like it. If so how would you go about doing it? Is there a kit or something I could buy?

We'll if you want it to look decent after doing it heres what you need
-Lift arms from manual window s4 or s5
-New door panels to elimate space where useless switches would be
- Handle
Its not hard to swap out if you do it yourself just
1) remove door panel
2) lower window till bolts on lift arm align up with two small holes
3) Unbolt window, remove weather stripping on the sliders and lift the window out carefully
4) Un install 2-4 bolts for motor assembly and lift arm and bolt manual window in
5) Raise/Lower lift arm till it aligns with those two little acess holes for the screws and install the window then reinstall your new door panel or existing (your going to have to cut a hole if your using the existing) and then install the crank
Hope this helps
