Converting auto-manual

Is it worth the hassle? or is it easier to just buy a manual car

There was also a long post about this in the past few days here. Search for "auto" under the username "mephis" and you should find some decent info.

Is it worth it? Depends on how much you like your car. If it's just a car to you, then sell it and buy a manual. If it's more then a car, and you've invested considerable amounts of time, money and emotion into it, then do the swap.

Regardless, I think it's pretty worth it, even if you aren't madly in love with the car, because it sure as hell will make you in love with it! You can read Mr.Lander's guide at http://www.rotaryresurrection.com (under Tech) to get an idea of how to do it, and to see if you're capable of doing such.
