Winterizing
I'm putting my 88vert away for the winter. I'm hearing about Seafoam, any advantage in putting some into the fuel tank and running it for 10 minutes?
Any recommendations? I used to squirt a 50/50 mix of Varsol and ATF into the plugholes of my 84 GSL-SE and spin it for 10 seconds before I parked the car for the winter. What do you guys think of that treatment?

A wealth of good info, but possibly overkill for just winter storage, but one can pick and choose their options. I've stored the TII every year, since new in 1989, in our garage about 100' from the house and I actually leave the hood opened so the little critters don't try and make a condo in the engine compartment. I also put towels in the tailpipes and in the air intake, leave the HVAC air intake door on recirculate to close off outside access, and also cover the air intake area on the cowl with a towel. The little guys get everywhere. Other than fuel stabilizer and a battery tender, that's about it.
