Might get ripped for this, but......

I used Honda Vinyl/Leather Protectant. Gives it a nice deep black look.

I spoke to my upholsterer and he said he likes Vinylex by Lexol. I asked him about ArmorAll and he said he doesn't like it because it is greasy and pointed out that it says not to apply it in the sun even though you would then drive it in the sun after applying it. Other than that he had not problems with it. I think that application in the sun may have to do with the contents of the liquid that evaporate after application such as water and if the evaporation occurs to rapidly you may get streaking.

The paper work that came with my Robbins Top said to use a readily available product called Malco. Robbins is in California and I have never seen this procuct on the East coast.

Porchapin said he used the Blue Magic convertible top cleaner.

I've used 303 Aerospace Protectant for 3 years on my top and swear by it. Leaves a deep black on a great conditiion top, lasts @ 2 - 3 washes, and does not seem to attract a much dust as other products I have tried including Lexol. You will most likely find it at marine suppy stores. Boaters I know also think it is great.

Nice. They have it at West Marine right down the street. Will have to pick some up.

Any of you guys ever used that spray can stuff? Duplicolor something or other. Seems some people have and it worked pretty well. I might try it to get through the summer before I have mine redone.
