You just need to remove two bolts which hold the bottom of the glass. To reach those bolts, you need to remove door panel. I think that's all.

I think Kiyoshi basically got it.

Do you know how to get the door panel off? I like to keep it close so I can plug in the window switch and raise or lower the window so I can get at the two bolts a bit easier.

Should be a piece of cake.

Yeup, that's it. If you have a hand crank window you need to carefully squeeze a horseshoe shaped metal spring clip that's right beneath the handle. A glass place might be nice enough to do it for you, or you can try lots of frustrated fiddling with a pair of pliers or a somewhat thick length of cable (wrap and squeeze). You pull off the handle while squeezing the clip. Did I mention your handle will break if you yank it off thinking the clip is removed when it isn't?

Other than that it's a piece of cake. Just start hunting for screws and unscrewing the door. Some things you have to lift or pull a certain way, but it's easy enough to figure out after a bit of guessing. The upholstery is also held on by tabs. After you get all the screws out you just pull where the tabs are and they pop right out.

I don't think any of the verts came with a cranking window.

the support beam could be removed withou structural dammage from what i can tell, the only ting that it could really be braceing was the front window. i think the piece is actually there to cut down on wind and noise. and with the top down and window tinted limo black you would still be able to see it. i was just wondering what the car would look like.
