Convert NA diff to turbo diff

Convert NA diff to turbo diff

My question, can you convert a NA diff to a Turbo diff 2nd Gen. , with turbo cv's/axles? Rafk

You can't "convert" the diff, the parts are all different, you need to swap in the complete TII diff, axles and then either get the TII tranny, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft etc too, or get a special driveshaft to connect the NA tranny to the TII diff.

well as a side note i havent had much drive time on this setup but if you very carefullly measure the amount of tourqe required to turn the pinion flange, you can unbolt a n/a flange and bolt it to a turbo diff, but it does not work the other way around due to diff spline heights. but you have to make sure to tighten the pinion nut back the the exact tourqe you measred becuase if you exceed it you will crush the crush tube and will then have to tear down the whole diff to replace it, as i stated above i havnt had much drive time on this setup but i have had no oil leaks form the oil seal and everything moves very smoothly.
