Conversion Q's

I have an 88 GXL. The engine keeps overheating very quickly and sometimes wont start. I want to put in a turbo engine. Now here are my questions:

1. Can I do it?
2. is there a 6 speed transmission made for 88 rx7
3. is this a wise move? or should i just rebuild the slow 13b?
4. if i stay with the 13b, what could the problem be?
5. is the turbo hood necessary for the turbo engine?
6. where can i get a turbo motor?

thnx 4 ur help.

Guy you`re gonna get creamed with "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON" etc.
The topic has been covered so much you wil for sure find all your answers.
Just a hint though try the FAQ at Rotary Ressurection ( my spelling sucks I`m sure)

1)If you think you're up to it
2)no
3)personal preference
4)any normal problem a 13b will give
5)no, just recommended if you use a top mount intercooler (you can always do what most people do and put in a front mount intercooler)
6)internet, tuner shops, etc.
