i was wondering if the control links from a s4 gxl( i think its what it came off of ) will work for my base 87 ? also are they interchangable with the front or back? the ones i got have both holes on the same side ( sorry for no pictures again ) . my links ( the last time i looked at them was before winter ) were worn out and the passenger rear one was missing the bushing completely.

 

I assume you are talking about the sway bar end links?

They are interchangeable fronts to fronts, rears to rears, the S4 86-88 are stronger then the S5 ones.

If I recall correctly the fronts and rears work slightly differently, where one set has a 90deg turn in it. But I haven't worked with them in a while so I may be off there.
