Control arm bushing replacement
Control arm bushing replacement
Does anyone have some tips for replacing the foward bushings on the Front Control Arms?
I have a tool that will pull the rear bushing off the shaft section, but I need some ideas for pressing the foward bushing out of the tube.
Here's a low-tech diagram of what I mean.
Front of vehicle, driver's side:

This is the same thing as the A arm correct? The A shaped piece that is up front, has two large bushings + its the only thing holding the spindle/bearing assy. when you take off your front suspension right?
I think I need to change those bushings on my car too. Where did you get some good poly. ones?

I haven't bought them yet, but I plan on getting the set from Black Dragon(formerly Victoria british catalog). It's less than $50 for the front control arm poly set.
