constant buzzing coming from dash

Exclamation constant buzzing coming from dash

i have an 86 rx7 and on my way home from work tonight the add coolant light comes on before i leave my parking space along with a god awful buzzing coming from the dash so i imediately check my coolant level and its fine. so i hope back into my car and turn it of and started it again. well the samething so i went ahead and drove home all my gauges read normal and drove normal. any ideas?

where did you check it? the rad or the overflow? you have to check the rad. if it's full then I guess it's the sensor or the wire that's gone. I'm pretty sure you ground the wire to make it stop so that would be a temp fix to make it shut up.

Sounds like you got some air in there and its setting off the low coolant warning.

Might need to purge it out at the coolant fill/access port. Use a big #3 Phillips screw driver (don't use anything smaller or you will strip out the grooves).
