Consistent Flooding, awesome.

Well, my newly acquired n/a FC has a new fun little habit. I had the car for 4 months w/ NO random flooding issues at all. Now the during this past week, all of a sudden it decides it wants to flood unless i start it every 2-3 hours or so.

All i did to the car that could affect fuel system was run injector cleaner through the gas, TRIED to change the low idle i have, and i had a dangling capacitor or something that is EXACTLY like the oil pressure sender capacitor (bolted under trailing coil pack) so i grounded it to the firewall...

Maybe my injectors just decided that they want to go now, who knows.. Options include fuel cut switch at the fuel pump relay in the car (ghetto), the bleeder valve kit from MazdaTrix (a little less ghetto), or just buy 2 new primary injectors and hope that does it. Compression in the car is good. Another question, i know 87.5 had high impedance injectors and 87 had low. how can i tell if my car is a 87.5 or a 87 ? Thanks guys

n/a

Just went out to start it after sitting for about 20 hours, flooded. Not even the pulling fuses or disconnecting fuel pump relay could unflood it. had to pop-start it, & give off the smoke screen. This blows, the car went from perfect engine wise, to flooding constantly in a day.

hmmm i think you have a stuck injector, take them out and send them to be cleaned it's only 14$ an injector through cruzinperformance.com and they'll be back within a week

Also you could find a local mechanic shop to do a fuel induction that sprays chemicals throught the motor that eat away the carbon that is probly holding your injector open.

Hmm, how hard is pulling the injectors, kinda looks like a bitch being that the primary fuel rail is way under there ? This really sucks badly
