connecting coolant nipples on h20 pump and engine

im removing my thermowax and bac valve as part of my engine bay clean up and emmissions removal, this leave two coolant sources leaking into my engine bay (one on the rear of the water pump housing, and the other on the rear of the engine.

I dont particularily want to tap and block off the holes in case I ever need to reinstall either system. so i was planning on just running a coolant hose between the two nipples.

I was just checking to make sure this would be ok...

That works just fine. Go to your local parts store and get a preformed 90 degree bend of the right diameter, two hose clamps, and just cut it to fit.
