um i have not had this problem. just look to see were the wires go. the negative goes to the ground at the motor & tranny and the positive goes to the fuses. not too difficult.

when i did mine wrong (like 3 times in a row) it was because i got an optima battery with the terminals on opposite sides of the stocker (reversed terminals)

so i was hastilly putting the rings on the posts the same way they were laying, and POP. fuse. POP. fuse. POP. fuse. **USED BRAIN and read terminals**

lol. dont listen to lambo door boy, we all do it.

lmao!!! I did the same exact thing yesterday, cuz i was re-doing my whole ground, and i was under the car changing my ground and positive that goes into the alternator and the positive cable touched the chassis of the car ( i didnt disconnect my battery) and it blew the main fuse.

I kept pulling and pulling, but it wouldnt come out. So i got mad and tried to pull it with a pair of big pliers, and it just chattered lol. Then i got on here and searched for "main fuse", only to find out it was bolted down with 10 mm's.
