confused about the true dual threads from searching...

i have been reading several threads about the true dual setups... in the threads i see a header going to two pre-silencers and then to two mufflers.... what im wanting to find out is if anybody has done away with the two pre-silencers.... nobody in the threads mentioned not having the two pre-silencers... what i would like to do is put a RB road race header on there and go from that size piping to two mufflers because i know a straightback will be just too ******* loud... if i misread a thread and it talked about this sorry for the post but dont tell me to search cause i have the last month on and off and this is my first real question worth posting.. thanks in advance

you want the presilencers, or cats in their place... especialy with the vert... it will be way too loud without them...

Way too loud, i had the RB road race header in to a cat on each pipe and into a spintech muffler on each pipe, sounded horriable could not stand the noise it was making, sounded like ****
