Configuration of AVC-R ???
Hey Guy/Girls
i need help with setting up my new boost controller.
1.what do i use for engine config (ie cyl ,sped, throttle)
2. i want to run 10 psi for setting A and 12 psi on setting B. how do i set that.
3.Do i still need to have the stock boost pressure sensor connected to bothe the vacume line and the connactor.?
4. i have the a Racing Beat FCD inline with the stock pressure sensor. Should i leave that in place?
5.I now have no restritor pill is that a problem?
Many Thanks

I hope you DO have the manual for the AVC-R, but if for some reason you don't.
1. Set cylinder to 4 (2 rotors x2), set speed to 4, and the throttle arrow going up.
2. Every car will be different because of intake, exhaust, etc. I'll tell you what I did and hopefully this helps. I boosted .5 with no controller, so I set my AVC-R to .7 (about 10psi) and the duty cycle to 50%. You'll have to give it an estimated setting, and then drive around and check it. If you're maintaining a stable boost the unit will learn your exact duty cycles. So basically set your A setting to .7 and the duty cycle you'll have to play with. Set your B setting to .8 and estimate your duty cycle from the previous setting.
Your other questions were answered above so good luck. If you don't already have a copy of the manual, GET ONE!
