Well the gas in my car isn't very old. I was told it just kinda "started" acting funny, then got worse. the fuel filter was very clogged, perhaps that put strain on the pump and weakened it. I'll try checking the pump pressure today. and i'll search for that thread on poor fuel delivery.

50 PSI is pretty low, lower then my car. Of course, it could just be that the engine wasn't warm and it could be carbon build up. The problem is to fix the carbon you do the water trick, but to do that you have to have a steady idle.
You might go through the vacuum lines and check for broken and cracked lines, if there are enough of those it will cause problems like you describe.
Also, you might try posting in the regional forum and ask for help. I'm not sure how many Oklahoma guys there are, but you should be able to find someone who'll be willing to help you out a little.

well i thought the numbers didn't matter that much as long as they were even pulses. i've read all sorts of things saying it will pulse at around 30-35. I think the method of pressure release on the gauge plays a part in this first number, but the 88 i got after, seems low, provided that gauge is accurate.
Gonna try again in a few minutes.

Yeah, it'll start up fine each time. I'm removing my injectors and having them cleaned today. I know i need to test my fuel pressure still.... I'll replace all the remaining vac lines uner the UIM. to ensure no vac leaks. And then there's there CAT, but it's harder to get to that since i live in an appartment.
