Compression PSI?

What is normal compression for a Turbo II '(88)? and how many PSI would you say was good for 130k?

From Kevin @ rotary Res.
The test will only be totally accurate if perofrmed on a warmed up engine, and with the throttle at WOT.

New spec is about 120-125.
VGC is 110-120
Good is 100-110
Getting weak is 90-100
Poor condition is under 90.

Mazda states the base compression value at 85 psi, with no more than 21 psi between any of the chambers. See the service manual for cranking speed and altitude corrections to the compression test.

Once the engine gets down to about 75 psi, it is about toast.

I'm going to have to agree with sureshot.. if it starts easy and runs, be happy.. 130K is approaching the upper limits of a turbo motor, don't expect it to last long.
