Common leaks....

Are located where?

And.... today when I got on it, sorta... it smelled like rotten eggs. My car is not gutted (yet), but any idea what would have caused this smell? A few of the carsaround me, that I thought it was them... when they turned someplace else, it turned out it wasn't. So... ideas?

The rotten eggs smell is from a new catalytic converter install. It'll go away after a month or so of heavy driving.

Are we talkin' exhaust leaks, fluid or what?

Sorry I should have been more specific..

To tell you the truth, I don't know. A couple of us, have guessed it could be a vaccum leak, BAC leak.... but we're not sure. How can you tell?

And.. well.... I haven't had ANY knew cats installed, So... I doubt that's the prob.

Sorry, wasn't paying attention to "gutted" I need more sleep...

Has to be something to do with the cats. All I can say is I got the same nasty smell when I installed my kit from RP. Did it for about a month before it went away. When I asked, that's the answer I got.

Funny tho, my old cats didn't do that, but they were clogged pretty bad. I suppose after they break down and begin to rattle, pieces that haven't been exposed to exhaust gases before suddenly are and that's causing the smell (?).

Hope that helps some. Sorry for the missunderstanding.
