colder weather affecting my power window

so everytime it gets a little cold, saY BELOW 70 my driver's window gets harder to roll up. it gets to about half way then almost stops completely unless i rev the car a little. sometimes this dont even work and i need to assist it by slightly pulling upwards on it.what is causing this? bad solder joints maybe? if so where are the bad joints or where to start?thanks
