cold start issues
First start of the day, fires up fine, rises to 3k for a bit or until throttle is touched, rpms fall, fall ,and stall. If I hold the throttle for a min or two it will hold fine at 1200 and slowly drop to 750. This just started out of no where, no issues before and has done it since. I know the bac valve is not working but I'm 90% sure it wasn't working before this issue started. The other thing I noticed is the number 2 secondary tb plates are open all the time warm or cold. So I'm guessing the water thermal valve is bad or stuck, but would it contribute to the cold start stall. If it possible to stall the car with too much air? Is there a temp fix to stop the stall. Can I adjust the throttle cable to hold the plates slightly open and adjust down the air adjuat screw. I hate to say this but the car is being traded for a turbo z31 with half the miles of the 7.(i just can't pass on it.), but all is good cuz spring = tii time. I just don't want to give him a car that you have to keep your foot on the gas till its warm. BTW I searched and everything said the bacv which wasn't working before. Also the rpms go up when the ac is on, but drop when headlights are on. Doesn't the bac bump idle when the ac is on? Or the ecu? It's a 88 gxl bone stock.

New bac is expensive, working used one needs shipping, and the car is gonna be traded sat or sold within the week as a project. So throwing time, and money at it is not worth it. Maybe if i was keeping it.
