Absolutely! The colder air is, the denser is it. That means it has more oxygen. The AFM's temp sensor tell's the ECU how dense the air is, and the denser it is, the more fuel that's added. More oxygen + more fuel = more power. It won't be huge, but it is noticeable.
But there's another more inportant reason to keep intake temps as low as possible. The cooler the air is, the more resistant the air/fuel mix is to engine-killing detonation.
