Cold Air Box
I have an 88 N/A and Im going to get an intake soon, and from what i've read, its pointless to get an intake unless you make a cold air box becasue w/o the box it will just suck hot air from the engine bay. I was just wondering If anyone knows of any web pages that have good instructions on how to make one and If you do, can you please post them. THANKS!

There were a couple people that got sent traces of the parts that were needed to make your own CAB but it seems that noone is sharing the knowledge...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!

It's likely the TB box won't do much more than a simple filter/adapter mod if at all. IMO, the CAB is for a cleaner engine bay, cleaner filter element etc...I don't think the CAB will make any useable pressure to make power...there just isn't much power to be had on an NA's intake (I'm told even porting the manifolds do little on an S4). Sure, it's a good mod but bc it cleans the engine up a bit, makes some nicer sounds and gives a little peace-of-mind. Save your pennies and do the full exhaust at the same time if you want to feel your mods!!
