Also, you do not want to use any springs other than stock on stock shocks. The stock shocks cannot handle the stiffer springs, and they're old and worn anyway. If you change springs, you really need to get better shocks.

i know a guy that thought the same thing you do except his were like 30 bucks so what could it hurt? its the same as cutting a couple of coils off of your spring. every bump makes you wanna cry for your car. for get it.

um. let this end this thread.
getting low end springs can **** up the whole car, from suspension, steering, braking, in the long run, engine.
it ***** up the suspension because you get springs that cant handle the load of the car during turns, braking, accelerating, ect.
it ***** up the steering and braking for the same reasons.
in the long run, if you just let your car go and ignore the long term adverse effects, you can ruin your engine due to MASSIVE amounts of detrimental vibrations, destroying the motor mounts and possibly leading to catastrophic failure.
STAY THE **** AWAY FROM THOSE LOW END EBAY GARBAGE BULL ****!
also, like n/a said, whenever you get GOOD springs, get new shocks. its worth it to replace the upper mounts as well.
