Code #12 Throttle sensor (full range)

According to 1300cc.com this code comes from a broken wire or a short circuit. Without a voltmeter to check each wire on the harness im not sure what to do. Ive changed the TPS twice. Neither TPS has been confirmed to be good or bad as I have no way of testing them. Ive checked the harness that the TPS connector plugs in to but I see nothing out of the ordinary. Ive also re-grounded all the main grounds per Aaroncakes writeup, and for the hell of it I swapped in another AFM and it didnt effect anything. Any other ideas? S5 in case anyone was wondering. Ive done some searching but I haven't found a definitive answer yet.

Have you tried to adjust the TPS? It may just be out of calibration. Here is a how to http://www.banzai-racing.com/TPS_adjustment.htm

I thought the ECU resets the TPS when the negative battery cable is disconnected for 15 seconds?

All that does is erase the code from the ECU, it does not fix the problem.

I've got both code 12 and 18 which is narrow range! I really need to adjust it or something.
