Check for leaks in the system. Fluid level should give you a quick idea whether you've got a leak. The master cylinder, clutch line and slave cylinder all need to be inspected.

the clutch has NO cable.it is Hydraulic.
Like "the Rocket Man" Said.Check your clutch fluid level. If it is down Put some in so you can Check to see where it Went to.It sounds like either your slave or line went.Your master would show signs of starting to go,Not Go just like what you described.
remember, even If the Fluid Stays up,YOu are going to have to Replace something. It is not just an Add fluid and everything is alright deal.If the Clutch let go,there is a reason for it,and it wouldn't magically fix itself after just adding fluid. So,look into clutch Hydraulic replacement On the Forum.Look into bleeding the System to get air out also.

If you still have the rubber hose, there could be cracks in it. Thats what I had. I drove around with brake fluid with me. The symptoms I would have before the clutch went to the floor were: a weak peddle, harder to shift into gear, being stuck in nuetral, and pedal stuck to the floor. Order a Stainless Steel clutchline, its $20 and works wonders. Also, bleed your system, air in the line makes it worse. Another thing to do if it isn't the line, park over paper, or dry concrete, let your car sit for a minute, and then back up a little bit, look for fresh wet spots in the area you were just at. If the middle of the spot is wet, it could be the slave cylinder, if it is wet towards the left side, its the master cylinder. Rebuild kits are give or take $25. Also, see if wrapping the threads with Teflon tape, (plumbing tape thats white and frays easilly) it plugs leaks. I hope this helped, because this is what I did. Also search, I made a thread were I needed help with some of this stuff, I got too many questions.(Really sorry for the wall of words)
