They both give a snappy grip.
If you can believe the ads, the carbon metallic may last longer.

I've been thrashing a copper/ceramic for a the last year.
So far - so good.

Pinapple racing sells a disk that is supposidely some kind of carbon metalic disk, disk alone is something like $250 from them. They tought it as a little easier to drive then the copper ceramic ones and doesn't get renndered useless if it gets soaked with oil.I wonder if this is the same material or disk.Wouldn't surprise me,there is only so many clutch makers.

Can anyone add some new info on this. I'm looking for a new clutch an it looks like it been a year since the last post on this. I'm shure some of you guys replaced your clutch in the past year. I like to know what brand and what you went with copper or carbon metallic Thanks Tony

I won't touch anything unless it says "ACT" on it.
I wouldn't buy a "bargain" clutch off eBay either.

Step up from that is OC Giken, or any number of (real) carbon clutches like Exedy or ATS.
