clutch sound?

clutch sound?

this morning when i got in my 88 gxl i put the clutch in and heard a hissing sound. Not to loud but it almost sounded like like an air leak. I have no clue what it is but I was wondering if anyone else did??

Maybe the throwout bearing. (AKA release bearing)

Clutches only last 100,000 miles or so.

Maybe put it up on a rack, pull the inspection cover & have a look
