Leave a list of mods/planned mods and we can recommend a clutch.

now that its starting to slip it will get worse unless you're really careful with it.. i drove for a month on a slipping clutch babying it but by the end it was getting real shady..

as for clutches, ACT sells some great ones and i think you can get them through the rx7store.net

i have the 6-puck unsprung, but truthfully thats not an option for most. theres no slipping it into gear - its either on or off. at the same time it really pulls!

a sprung clutch will allow for some slipping. the most common replacement for the OEM is an ACT Street/Strip clutch.

This is definitely time for you to replace the clutch. When mine had the EXACT SAME symptoms as yours... it only took like a month for it to be totally and utterly gone. My last act of driving with the worn-out clutch was backing onto some ramps (to change the clutch) and I had to rev it to over 6,000. I suggest to replace SOON.

I got my regular Exedy clutch kit off eBay from a dude named TheClutchGuy... I think you can e-mail him at: theclutchguy@hotmail.com. It was $115USD for the 13B N/A clutch kit (incl. clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, centering tool) plus $40 UPS shipping. Not sure how much the 13B Turbo kit would cost... but probably not too much more. You also save a lot because there's no duty involved! I had to pay duty and brokerage fees since I am in Canada...

He's really good to deal with and you cannot beat his prices.

I am the same boat right now, my clutch is slipping pretty bad. I have been searching and reading for a few hours and have found several consistencies.

First, ACT is the most frequently mentioned kit, no one has said bad things about it.

Exedy is also up there, no bad things, but not mentioned quite as often.

Regular centerforce setups are apparently not good; however, the "dual friction" centerforce has had mostly positives.

I am still reading and trying to figure out which clutch setup to get myself for my daily driver, but not many people responded to my last post. I pretty much have it narrowed down to the ACT street/strip setup with a heavy duty or extreme pressure plate. Also, it seems that the ACT kit comes with an Exedy organic disc, apparently ACT doesn't make their own disc for this particular kit.
