clutch sensor makin me mad

When ever i get in my car for the first time of the day it takes about 15 min to start my car. i hit the clutch and turn the key nothin happens. i stomp on the clutch a couple times nothing happens. so i stomp on the clutch some more and give it a little gas and then she starts to click from the starter silinoid. so i leave it alone for a few seconds and i push the clucth a few times and then BOOM it fires up and runs fine for the rest of the day. just though i would tell y'all and the thing is im not sure if its the clutch sensor or if its the wire but something with the sensor is deffinately shorting out

The clutch switch has two wires going to it. Pull them off. Splice them together. It's the switch at the top of the pedal.

i think i'm having the same problem (well it's starting to go i think)...i have to slam the clutch pedal to the floor and then it takes a second or 2 for the car to catch and turn over. So the 2 wires that you're wiring together...what are they, and what exactly is being bypassed when wiring them together?

all i know is when you hard wire it i heard that you can turn your car one without pushing the clutch in with i think isnt very safe and decreases the value of the car

decreases the value of the car? how so. The reason they did it is so that you dont accidently start the car in gear. I removed mine for the remote start.

I've heard that a car that you have to randomly stomp on the clutch pedal to get it started.....devalues the car considerably more than a car that starts without depressing the pedal.

Interlocks for starting the car

Daytime running lights

Chimes that go off if you leave the door open

;Buzzers that go off for any reason

All the above need to be done away with.

i was just told that, im not big on resell value because im not planning on selling my car. and also if i hard wire it i wont have to worry about the buzzers and all of that going off do i and also is it best i solder the wires together since thats really all i can think of doing with them.
