Question Clutch Question

I've been looking around trying to see if a S4 clutch will work in a S5 engine. Since I bought my clutch off ebay and it said 86-88 and there were no 89-92 clutches in stock. So I have the 86-88 clutch next to me and I was woundering if it would work in my 89 n/a. I don't want to rip apart my bottem end and just end up find out that it won't fit. So if someone can answer me this, I would be greatly helped.

The ACT clutches are for 86-91 n/a. And I know the transmissions are interchangeable between s4 and s5 without changing the clutch, so it should work fine I'd think.

Well the clutch is off ebay and it said for 86-88 FC it is a OEM. I have a 89 FC and before I go under the car and start working I need some answers if this will work. (Ebay did not have any S5 clutches when I looked before and now there are some there how gay...)

The S4 clutch should work just fine with the S5 tranny, as long as its a NA car and a NA clutch. They are 225mm and use the same input shaft.

Now I am not sure on the pressure plate......

Ok, Well I have it figured out. The S4 pressure plate DOES NOT fix a S5. If anyone wounders about this. But i'm not sure about the Throw out bearing, so can someone get back to me on that one? The clutch disk is good to go though.
