Im pretty sure your not supposed to be able to move the clutch fork with your hand. the clutch hydrolics push the clutch fork but you shouldnt have the strength the compress the pressureplate springs but if you do hey thats cool. And yes the pressure plate should throw the clutch fork right back up

As for the no pressure i couldnt help you there and im not expert so sorry if theres any mis information just posting what ive seen in my latest tranny/clutch swap.

Matt

edit- so yea checking out if the disk+p plate+ TO bearing would help figure out the clutch fork thing. Maybe replace fluid and re bleed for the clutch hydrolics pressure??

I know I can't move the clutch fork around when the tranny is mounted already. Did you fit the clutch fork and throw out bearing correctly? The clutch fork goes through the throwout bearing.

I would just take it apart again and take a look around just to make sure everything was put together right. Do you still have the spring for the fork and the pivot ball?

You can try looking here at the different TO bearings.

A bad clutch fork could be a problem, but I don't know if it would break just installing a new clutch. Did it look good when you installed the new clutch?

What kind of clutch is it?
