Clutch Problems

Ok heres teh deal. Everytime when I push the clutch in when the car is on it sounds like something is grinding scrathing etc. It sounds like a belt is jumping or something. The engine is also wanting to die. I've bled the clutch and its not helping. I've drained the system and put new fluid in it and it doesn't help. Any ideas?

I had the same problem a couple days earlier, could just be the pilot bearing, but the rest are problably worned out as well, might as well get a new clutch kit if you can afford it, 250 or so.

Yes could also be the pilot. Many people overlook this when doing a clutch at home because it is hard to get out without the tool. Make sure to replace it though. Do a little research on what clutch to buy for your application. I bought the centerforce unit which is great for most street applications but I will be putting down over 450hp so I had to get something else before I even put it in. If you want a centerforce setup I have one for you new in box. PM me.

similar question. That happens to me when im going in reverse i put the clutch pedal to the floor and it grinds a lil when i put it in, sometimes it doesnt grind at all. Also when im driving sometimes i feel a grinding resistance when i go into second gear and sometimes its goes in perfect.

I know its my THROW OUT BEARING.

My questions is can i use any throw out bearing. I know they make one for s4 and one for s5, cuase mazdatrix sells two types.

Are they interchangable?
