Clutch problems

My clutch pedal doesn't work... Okay it's alot more complicated than that. Here is the back story. A little while ago after a drifting session my clutch pedal was not fully disengaging the clutch. I let the car cool off a little, pumped the clutch pedal and it finally let me get in gear and I drove home, inspected the clutch cylinder and found it to be WAY too low on fluid, no problem fill her up and everything is all good again. The only thing that was bugging me about it was that I couldn't figure out were I lost the fluid.

Well, last night it did the whole clutch no work thing all over again, only it was sort of fading in and out. I got stuck in first gear for a little while, so I was rolling around unable to stop. Luckily I made it to the freeway and finagled it into 5th. A little while later I had to downshift to get back up to speed after taking an offramp. The thing worked perfect. I drop my buddy off at his house and I almost can't get going again. I nursed it home and took a look at it. It's down a little bit of fluid since I last filled her up, but it's maybe an eighth of the way from max to min, nothing to cause an issue like that. I still couldn't find any fresh leaking fluids.

Here is my theory: This thing has one hell of a clutch in it, I dunno who put it there, but it's over kill to say the least. I'm almost convinced it's an unsprung disc, maybe as crazy as a 6-puck and this is on a 150whp GXL, so yeah too much clutch. I figure that old clutch line is just finally giving out and expanding like crazy, the rubber band like activity could also explain the on/off of my clutches ability to disengage. I'm ordering a corksport clutch line right now, anyone else have any suggestions?

YEAH..the slave cylinder is shot...has a rubber thing inside that is old and fluid is leaking past it and air is getting in the system and that is why your pedal stays on the floor or you need to pump it to build pressure..have a mechanic look at it! shoudl take a good one about 15 minutes to tell you what it is
