Clutch problem
Alright so I did a haltech on my car and did a clutch and flywheel upgrade at the same time. I'm working on the haltech right now and I had a few people look at the car, I hadn't tried getting it to move as I am having idle problems so I never tried putting it in gear. I got it started and found the hard way that someone had put it in gear. I toasted a little bit of the clutch before I noticed something was up and shut it off. The car got an engine swap as well when I did the haltech (was a dead engine) so I'm not exactly sure how the petal compares to that of a stock but it is a little bit stiffer than my NA. The petal doesn't stick to the floor, the flywheel had a factory step machined into it when I had it resurfaced. The clutch is an ACT. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

A side note, has anyone had something similar happen where the pedal DOES NOT go to the floor? Everything I searched was "pedal hits floor" problems and I'm just curious if without having this, you could still have a master/slave cyl problem?

If something's installed incorrectly and the clutch hydraulics are good, I could see a scenario where the clutch peddle would stop before full travel- something about the pressure plate not doing what it's supposed to be doing....

I can't really check that without dropping the tranny though so I guess I might as well do a rebuild kit on the master and slave and bleed it again and see if that does the trick.
