clutch prob

im about to buy this 2nd gen from my friend and theres one major problum that i would like to figure out. when u accel u cant do it hard u have to slowly slowly do it ok well then say ur in 2nd and need to pass a car. well u go to step on it and it just spinns and gos straight to high rpms kinda like u just threw it into nutral or steped on the clutch. but u didnt. now im new to the 7s and i no i sound stupid or whatever but help would be greatly aprecatied.(cant spell eather) lol anyways thanks to all that help out.

You hit it on the head...Bad clutch/pressure plate. If severely worn, rivets could have damaged the flywheel. You'll need a clutch assembly and possibly a flywheel, if it can't be resurfaced.
You might check pedal freeplay for kicks, but I think it's toast.

so basicly im lookin at buying a whole new clutch assembaly flywheel and basicly anything else that looks damaged. so its not possiable that the person who installed it just didnt do sumthing right that i can fix? its almost brand new thats the only reason im asking.
