Clutch no longer engages .. how to fix ? Any writeups?

Its not the master pump or slave cylinder (just replaced) .. I went to shift into third and while the clutch was about to engage it felt like something snapped ... so it may be the line or it may be the plate that holds it (what im thinking). Now the clutch is either on the floor or up. Can't pump it at all.

I'm a noob to tranny issues so any help is awesome. Are there any write ups on repairs? Also are there any pictures of where I should be looking for possible damage?

Thanks guys
Jordan

It's the master or slave cylinder, replacement info would be in a haynes manual or the fsm.

Ahh, i read it wrong.

I thought you said it was stuk on the floor.

Did you do the obvious and the to make sure the slave is still bolted on?

If it is you either broke the clutch fork or the pressure plate.

im aiming towards the fork HOWEVER

I just filled up the reservior with fluid .. and gave it a couple of pumps .. and what do ya know ... all the stuff i put in is leaking out of the bottom of the car.

So I think its a clutch line?

What and where else should I be checking for problems? How should I go about checking for them (i.e. jack the car up .. etc etc).

Also how much is a fork and or new line

the hydraulic system in our cars is very simple, just replace all hard lines and all soft lines(assuming you already replaced master and slave), then bleed the system, done

Find where it is leaking from.

Did you lose the bleed screw?
