Clutch Hydraulics > shoot me please!!

well to start off, i just replaced my ACT HD clutch with an ACT Xtreme clutch. I replaced all the bearings and inspected that the fork was ok(no visible cracks). i put the tranny back up and start the car. I go to shift into gear, and it wont go in. I adjust the cluch pedal in alittle, and it finally goes in. I then drive the car around the block and it progressivly gets harder and harder to put into gear. I once again adjust the cluch, and it works fine again..It continued like that until i had no more room to adjust

I figured it was a leaky master cylinder, so i purchased a new slave and master at the local parts store. i put them in, adjust the pedal so that i have full adjustment on it again, bleed the cluch as best as i could, and start the car. It went in to gear fine, so i figured i fixed the problem, but once again the symptoms returned. I would constantly have to adjust the clutch to get it in to gear.

I still think its hydraulics only because after i adjusted the pedal back to full adjustment, it went in fine, and just like the old master and slave, it would continually get worse. also, another reason i think its hydraulics is because if i hold the pedal down and put it in first and continue to hold the pedal, it would slowly start to move the car.

Please,,,can someone tell me their opinion. why would a new master or slave go bad even though it is new(rebuilt i guess).

Defective new master cylinders happen. From your description of the car starting to move even though you are holding the clutch pedal to the floor, points right to an internal leak in the master. Possibly the slave, but I'd go with the master. That's exactly how a leaking master would behave.
